Who are RISC OS Open Limited?
RISC OS Open (ROOL) is an organisation run on a largely voluntary basis. We are managing the process of publishing the source code to RISC OS, which can be found here. We also offer professional services to anyone who is interested in developing commercial products using RISC OS. More information here.

What is RISC OS?
RISC OS is a computer operating system designed in Cambridge, England by Acorn. First released in 1987, its origins can be traced back to the original team that developed the ARM microprocessor. RISC OS is owned by Castle Technology Ltd.

Where can I get RISC OS?
If you are interested in downloading pre-built RISC OS applications and other software, then you should go here. To download the RISC OS sources and a suitable build environment, go here. We hope to have the complete RISC OS system available for download soon, along with a suitable free emulator which should allow users of other systems to give it a try.
How can I get involved?
